Well, my 2007 reading list is loooong. But Katrina at CALLAPIDDER DAYS , has inspired me to pick a few books from my exhaustive list to focus on this spring. Since I tend to work better when I have a deadline, I might actually finish a book or...four?
Hmmmm...Let's see...
- The Scarlet Letter - Nathaniel Hawthorn
- The Cross-Centered Life - C. J. Mahaney
- The Deerslayer - James Fenimore Cooper
- Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands - Paul David Tripp
I am currently reading The Scarlet Letter and enjoying it much more than I thought I would. I didn't realize Hawthorn was so deliciously sarcastic.
I wish I could look smarter and list more books, but between Scarlet and Deerlsayer (and a dictionary) I think I'll have my hands full!

Hawthorn was sarcastic? Very interesting, I'll add The Scarlet Letter to my ever lengthening reading list.

I think I will need to add The Cross Centered Life to my list. My sister posted a quote on her blog from the book and it sounds like a great book. So many books so little time!
Enjoy!

Hawthorn's sarcasm comes out when he describes people; it's pretty amusing. He'd be the perfect person to go people watching with.

I might have to re-read The Scarlet Letter! I read it in high school and probably didn 't appreciate it as much as I would now.
